4th Edition: Technology transfer and valorization of biomedical projects

The Biotechnology project management company Kinrel organizes, in collaboration with Parque Científico de Madrid, the fourth edition of the course Technology transfer and valorization of biomedical projects“. This course covers the topic of technology transfer in the context of biomedical research and will take place in Madrid, Spain, on 23-24 April. The teaching language will be Spanish.


Imparted by Eva Martín Becerra, expert in research valorization of the company Kinrel, and Beatriz Pérez Urbina, from the Department of Innovation and Technology Transfer of the Parque Científico de Madrid, the course will have the following program, lasting a total of 14.5 hours:

Thursday, 23rd April

  • 9.00 – 13.30 Technology transfer of research results
    • Identification and protection of intangible assets
    • Technology transfer process
  • 14.30 – 18.30 Valorization of research results
    • Market survey and project viability
    • Valorization of intangible assets

Friday, 24th April

  • 9.00 – 14.00 The model and business plan
    • Structure and contents of a business plan
    • Lean Start up for the validation of business models
    • Practical cases
  • 14.00 – 15.00 Business models in Biotechnology (with the collaboration of Beatriz Péez Urbina)

At the end of the course, you will be able to:

  • Identify research results that can be transferred
  • Understand the role of different actors during a tech transfer process
  • Identify the key factors in determining the value of a project
  • Understand the content and structure of a business plan

Registration fee is:

  • 52.50€ for FEBiotec or ANBI members
  • 70€ for non-members.
